Do you make your friends pay? Discount? At cost?

I have a vinyl graphics business and I do work for friends. I don't like to charge them. I usually only have $50 or less in a project in materials and the rest is just labor.

My friend has a dance studio and has had my daughter in her classes and never let me pay, and I want to do the same, but she says she doesn't feel right.

How do you handle doing business with friends?

You guys are getting into a dark area. It sounds like you are paying in trade. That is something to consider.
