Do you make your own puppy's food?

I only make my dog breakfast. I put water in a bowl, peices of wonderbread, cooked ham, and sometimes i put small pieces of apple. my dog was underweight because he got sick, and i gave him this every morning, and he gained the weight back, but he is not getting any fatter. he loves it too. :)

I make my own meals using prey model raw. The pups have been eating raw since 6 weeks old, there now 15 weeks old.

They get thinks like chicken, pork, game hens, turkey, beef and chicken liver, roasts of any kind, chicken feet.

They love it and are doing very well on it.

its usually better to buy food already made for them. They have all the proteins and nutrients a dog needs for a balanced diet. if you feed them house food you can harm them more than help if it is not prepared correctly.

Id recommend Purina one. thats what i always give my dogs. If you want to give them a little treat once in a while boil some chicken and carrots or sweet potatoes and give them that. But make sure that there is absolutely no salt or seasoning in it, that can make them sick.

I don't make my dog food because that is pampering your dog and sometimes your dog can get out of control if you keep it up to long.

Dogs bodies need so many nutrients and everything. I would let the experts make it and I'd rest easier at night, knowing he's getting all he needs.
