  1. Yes.  Henin is what a champion is all about.  It's not just about winning titles, but it is also the abilities, the naturalness, the style of game and poise and their ability to leave a mark on people.  She is definitely in the same category of champions such as Graf, Navratilova.  She is the No.1 of this era.  But it's not just being No.1 and winning, but to have a legend aura and poise.  Henin was that.

  2. Yes. She is one of the last of a declining breed of tennis players who play with craft and genuine skill. I am fed up of the likes of Williams sisters and Sharapova who seem alot more interested in being celebrities and fashion etc. Henin was an amazing competitor and the most dedicated player I have ever seen. She was 5 classes above anyone else on the tour at the moment. Huge loss to women's tennis which is turning into a sport of who can hit the ball hardest for longest-That is not what tennis is about.

  3. I have been watching the replays of Wimbledon from years past and I am haunted by the memories of great tennis players who have stepped on the center court turf. This morning, it was featured in the TV the match between Henin and Capriati during the early part of this century.  I just love the girls sweating it out in the court. Yes, I miss Henin, especially her effortless backhand that can produce winners.

  4. Yes she possesed those almost flawless tennis strokes and very exciting games

  5. she was the best backhand player i've ever seen......

  6. yeah- i surely do aswell...

i love the pwoer behind the shots, but having said that i also think that she has versatility and comes to the net-unlike sharapova...

    and the backhand-unforgettable!!

  7. Yes she was the best female tennis player who was actually entertaining to watch for her tennis abilities.

  8. Yeah, I miss her. She was the best, actually better than Maria and Ana...

  9. Its time to give others a chance.

  10. yes

  11. I only watched her when she was playing one of my favorites. If you didn't bring it up I wouldn't even remember her. she was talented just not my cup of tea

  12. Yeah i do. Women`s tennis feels empty without her.

  13. I didn't think I would but I have to admit that I do miss her. Right now when you look at the players who are still playing these days, there isn't anyone that I can see who will be able to truly dominate the sport the way Justine did. The Williams' sisters won't be around for much longer and Sharapova and the Serbs, are just boring to watch at times.

Justine was truly the only player this decade who really dominated the sport given the tough competition that she faced first from the Hingis/Davenport/Capriati era, then the Williams sisters, the onslaught of the Russians, the Williams  sisters again and now the Serbs. And lets not forget her countrywoman, Kim Clijsters whom she squared off against in many battles. You have to give her credit for being able to stay on top given that much competition she faced throughout her career. She will be missed!!!
