  1. Yes

But the steam forward on goals and exciting bits sometimes used to be scary.

  2. There was more definitely more atmosphere on the terraces than I have ever experienced in seating.

  3. well i'm only twenty now however when my dad used to take me i used to be standing there was more atmosphere the crowd seemed more pumped up. Being a pompey fan we have a pretty good atmosphere but its still not like it used to be. I went to cardiff away a couple years ago in the carling cup and the away section was standing the atmosphere was ten times better then at home.

Great clip by the way would love to be in that.

  4. yup!those were the days!x*x

  5. War without the shooting.

  6. Yes. When stadiums became all seater, it was the end of the real match experience

  7. Yes I do. There was a brilliant atmosphere when I used to go and stand in the Stretford end at Old Trafford

  8. Except when some drunk decided to p iss in an empty beer  can and empty it out round your feet .. those were the days my friend?

  9. I cant say because I was too young to remember the Kop even though I did stand on it! Was only 4 or 5 at the time! But the atmosphere you hear about at Anfield was electric! However, standing areas are no more for a very good reason! No one wants to see the horror of another Hillsborough again. RIP 96 LFC Fans. That day on April 15th 1989 will always be remembered and even though i wasnt even born, i still feel strongly about the HFSG! DO not buy the S*n!!!
