Do you need 100% to pass btec national in eletronics?

  1. You have to submit all the required 'components' .. I've no idea what the 'pass' mark is these days, but if it's anything like "A Levels" or University Degrees, I'm going to guess you only need to score 20% ..


  2. I am nearing the end of my national award in electronic engineering.

    I'm not sure whether that's the same course, you should have spelt it properly.

    Anyways, for my course, you need to complete all the written portfolio, do all practical tasks and get passes on all the coursework.

    So I would guess that amounts to 100% completion of everything.

    Where it makes a difference though is on the coursework - You can choose to go for merit or distinction. These set you apart from the normal "pass" grade, so they may be worth thinking about completing.
