The registration sticker on my car expired in 2006 (it's been sitting in my garage) But I don't have a D.L.(due to my irresponsibility-that's another story) But I still need to get back and forth to work, etc.. I there any way that I can still get my car registered until I can pay my tickets and get my D.L. back?

  1. I don't know of any state that you need to have your DL to register a car.  Registering a car and actually being legally aloud to drive it are 2 separate issues altogether.  You shouldn't have a problem.

  2. You can I believe, but you cannot insure it or drive it, They will revoke your license longer and probably arrest you for driving on a suspended license. I wouldnt both doing it.

  3. No anybody can own a car, and yeah you should have sent off a sorn.

  4. in Ohio you dont

  5. You may register a car without a drivers license, but how will that help to get back and forth to work, etc., without a D.L.?

  6. depends on the state ...

  7. Depends on the rules for that state, but in most you can't get it registered without showing a current insurance card, and you can't get insured without a valid license.

  8. Sure, you can put the car in your name without a license.  You just cannot put a license plate on it or drive it on a public road without a  driver's license.

  9. in NJ, no don't need a lisence
