There is no straight yes or no answer to your question.  

Most jobs at the Rock Island Arsenal require at least either a high school diploma or a G.E.D. But there are some jobs at the Arsenal  that you might be able to get without one.  In other words, it's no different from any big company.  They have different jobs with different requirements, but most of them do ask for a diploma or a G.E.D. certificate.
