Do you need a Passport to go to Nogales Mexico?

I heard you really just need a birth Certificate......not sure I dont want to get stuck over there.

yes you do have to have a passport to leave the us now even Canada and Mexico i just got mine in it takes about 2 to 3 mounts to get it

You need a passport to FLY to Mexico, not to DRIVE to mexico at this time.

if you are flying yo do need one to get back, if you are driving you don't need one, but you need a photo ID not just a birth certificate.

Not yet...the date has been rescheduled to 1/1/09, I think.  Bring a copy of your birth certificate and photo I D, to be safe.

Don't need your passport, might be quicker through the border if you do have it, but realy if you just have your drivers license that should work.

US citizens don't need passports to go to Mexico or Canada. It does make the security process quicker to have one though. Check out your local post office's website for the best instructions on that or go to the TSA website.
