  1. Yes, because that's what makes the human different from the animal. Without conscience there would be total wars and chaos. The morality my definition is based on is humanism


  2. A conscience isnt a being or something. Its just the decision method your mind uses to determine if decisions are good or bad.

    Its not from any morality system. But each morality system gives in a different definition and meaning. From divine, to totally natural electro-chemical process in a developed brain.

  3. Morality and conscience are based upon the world we live in, which provides pleasure and pain depending on how we behave. This leads to the universal 'Golden Rule'.
