  3. freesat uses the same satellites as Sky (Astra2 28.2 and Eurobird 28.5), so all you have to do if you already have a sky dish (in good working order) is to connect it to your freesat box. It will work on the continent as long as the country you are in is covered by the Footprint of the above satellites (Astra2 28.2 and Eurobird 28.5), for example in southern spain a dish of around 1.8m diameter
