Do you need a drivers license to get a motorcycle license?

I dont have my regular car license, but I want to get a motorcycle license in CA.

The motorcycle license is harder to get than the car one,  because its easier to die on one- and in most states you need the car one too- for traffic rules and such.

You can start with motorcycle license. But if you had a car license it is little bit easier (because you already know the traffic rules, etc.)

No. I have known people that have had motorcycle licenses, but have never been able to drive a car.

I believe you have to take a motor cycle test even if you are a licensed car driver
