I and my cousins are planning a houseboat holiday together. We will be 19, 17, 17, and 16, and all have our P driving licences. I was wondering if we would be able to take this venture on our own, and if we would be allowed to drive? The companies website doesn't say.

  1. IN most states a full drivers licence is good enough

  2. You do not need a Boat Lic. to drive a house boat. You are supposed to get detailed instruction from the Marina supplying the boat. Unfortunately most House Boat drivers I come across have no idea of navigation rules or basic common sense.

    Good thing they are slow........

  3. Mate I am pretty sure you dont need to be licenced to drive the houseboat due to the engine size and top speed.

Like I said I am pretty sure, try this link and bang em an e-mail they will be more than happy to help.
