Do you need a health card to work at Starbucks?

I know at Ihop you need a health card but what about starbucks?

and where do i get a health card?

Yes you need a food handlers or health card. You can find classes locally on-line or ask your employer to let you know were to get one. I think you can start work without one but you must get it within a couple of weeks from your hire date.

you dont need a health card to work at starbucks, my sis works there..

& you can get one after you get the job (if you need it) they should tell you!

Any place that handles food requires a health permit for their employees.  Usually a quick doctors visit, with blood test and x-ray will do the trick and some companies will send you to theirs for free.

Do you mean a CareCard number? Or do your mean your Food Safe level 1? A Carecard is something that provides you with free medical care (in Canada). A Food Safe Level 1 certificate pretty much means you're certified in food safety awareness.

After you work at Starbucks for a while, you will be given the opportunity to attend a Food Safe workshop, where you will be certified.

I didn't get offered to go to that workshop yet, but Ive only been working there for a bit more than a month.

I don't know what a health card is but I have heard rumors that they have given people with fatal diseases a hard time forcing them out.

    I'm not sure but you should check the internet at the Starbucks.com or just try to contact them. I don't think they'll be happy if you go on the line in Starbucks so just ask a manager or something.

In Texas most food workers have to have a health card, perhaps starbucks workers have to as well.
