Do you need a licence to sell edible wild mushrooms.

Question

Due to serious issues with correct identification, surely not just any old chump can do this. Does anyone know if you need a certificate or something. Thanks.

We used to buy mushrooms from some guy at the restaurant I worked at.  But they were all chantrelles which are impossible to get wrong when being picked.  The guy selling them was a Meth head and also sold us Fiddlehead ferns in the springtime.

So if you are selling something easy to ID (morels would be another one)  then you could do it, but then you still need to find a restaurant that will buy it.

you pretty much need a licence for everything nowadays

and since its wild mushrooms. i would hope so.
