It is called a Salt water license and it cost about 15 dollars at walmart in the sporting goods department.

i dont think so, but it really depends where you are.  if your area does, there will most likely be stores selling the liscenses somewhere nearby.

If you are within territorial waters, I would guess that you do. I know in Louisiana that you have to have a salt water fishing license to fish in the Gulf of Mexico south of Louisiana. I don't imagine the rules would be any different for fishing near the coast of states that border an ocean.

yes, if you don't need a license then you would be able to catch any fish that you want. If you need a license to fish in a small lake then of course you will need on in the ocean. You will need to buy the licence from the department of oceans and fisheries like everyone does in the marintime provinces.
