  1. If you're coming from the republic, no.  If you're coming from the UK, no.  If you're coming from anywhere else, yes.


  2. Depends on where you are traveling from.

    if you are in the US you need a passport to travel outside of the US.

    if you are already in Ireland I would think you would know the answer to that question.

  3. You'll need a passport if you visit another country unless you're some kind of a UN envoy. If you're confusing it to a visa then that's a different story. Depending on your nationality and your destination, you may or may not need a visa.

  4. You do not need a passport if you are from the UK and are traveling within the UK. For traveling from any other country you should carry your passport and visa if required.
