  1. If you are flying you do, otherwise you dont


  2. The law is that you do but they will take a drivers license and a birth certificate only if you are driving. Same goes for Mexico if you plan on coming back to the US. It is not the getting in to the other country is the getting back where this is an issue.

  3. You only need a passport if you fly. However in the summer of 2009, you will need to have a passport for all travel. To drive in you only need your drivers license and you birth certificate.

  4. You do not need anything but cash if you are driving to Canada. However if you are flying you do indeed need a passport.

  6. Please don't ever cross the border without a passport. Technically, you could go by with just a birth certificate and license, but nothing pi*ses me off more than waiting extra time in line because some f*cker didn't bring a passport and gets extra questioning.
