  1. You will starting from summer 2008.

  2. You dont need a passport to leave the country. YOu need it to come back in. It also depends on what ari line you are taking. Call and ask them. If you are not a us citixen but you are a mexican citixen then you will need to have your voting redencial and a mexican passport. If you dont have the passport your birth certificate works to. But it all depends on what ariline you are taking. La mexicana aviasion lets you on the plane with the things i mentioned above.

  3. Yes next year you will need one so you might as well get one now. Im trying to get one for my son right now and caint cuz his father don't have a valid id. cuz he is not a citizen.   Were not married though. Im mad so we may have to go on this year if i cain't get a passport for him.

  4. yes

  5. Flora is correct, from the info that I have from the passport office you will need a passport in January of 2008 to walk over into Mexico,  Now if you are going to fly then you need one now.  Eff: Jan 2007 when you fly over to mexico and I believe canada you now need your passport.  Check the website out www.travel.state.gov that should help you out.

  6. The scheduled date for a passport to be required to cross into Mexico by land or sea is set for summer 2008.  If you need any more information, here are some great sites to try:

    http://www.prioritypassport.com

    http://www.allamerianpassports.com

    Good Luck!

  7. YES... VERY TRUE

  8. The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative requires that by January 1, 2008, all U.S. citizens have a valid passport or other secure, accepted document, in order to enter or re-enter the United States by land.

Until this requirement is in effect as noted above, U.S. citizens are currently exempt from the requirement to show a passport unless they are returning to the U.S. from outside the Western Hemisphere (Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia). However, it is highly recommended that you be prepared to present documentation such as valid U.S. passport, U.S. birth certificate, or naturalization certificate to avoid delays.

  9. yes you need a passport to enter and leave mexico now and if you have not gotten one apply now it will take about 6 weeks before you get it.

  10. Walking, flying, driving, cruising, January1, 2008, everybody needs a passport for Mexico.

  11. After July 15th of 2007 it is required 4 all US citizens 2 carry a passport when traveling aboard planes/trains inside US soil. If u live on the border w/ Mexico all u need is a permit (drivers lic, ID, etc) 2 cross the border.
