I am going on a cruise to Ensenada in November and am wondering if I need to get a passport, since I know that laws have changed.

  1. Technically, passports are not needed for SEA travel until an. 2008. however, some cruise lines require theri passengers to hafe passports...so it is best to call and ask them.  You can see the website below for all passport info.  It would be a good idea to expedite your passport application IF you do need to apply for one just to make sure you get it in less than 12 weeks.

  2. No...but you can check out passports under U.S. Dept. of State for all the info.

  3. I actually think you might, you might want to check that site online. You have to have a passport when on a cruise now as well!

  4. You always need a passport, we have a law.

  5. I highly recommend you bring your passport when leaving the country. The laws may not require it yet, but passports are for our protection and security.
