  1. It used to be you did not, nor to Canada. But the Canada law changes this December when you will have to have a passport. I live 25 miles from Canada in Michigan but I think it's the same law for Mexico. These days, everyone even thinking of traveling out of the 50 states (or any country that they live in) should spend the $97 on a passport. My whole family got them 2 years ago.


  2. Until June 1, 2009 all you need is Birth C and a picture ID - like Drivers license.

  3. sometime you might get pulled over. It doesn't happen frequently but. I suggest bringing it just in case. Also, on the way back to the States they might pull you over or ask for it if you need to pay a toll.
