You need a speed boat, that is for sure.  If you have a speed boat, you would know the answer to this question. Have you ever printed out your own permit on your computer?

No but do it when the tide is in.  Do not walk or drive on the sands at Morecambe Bay when the tide's out unless you leave yourself plenty of time to get off when the tide comes in.
