  1. You get cable broadband instead, it comes down a...cable rather than the phone line, it works for all computers.  You can get a phone line and tv service via cable too.

  2. I have Web 'n' Walk, which is on T-mobile, just plug it in and you're away! But the disadvantage i find is its a lot slower than the usual phone line broadband, and also disconnects itself a lot, and i have a friend who also has this and says the same. This is £20 a month, as i got it when it first came out

  3. Asking from UK or USA??

THere is no way to know from the post.  It does not say.

So if it you are US  there is Clearwire.

You can get  different types of service.

    1. Laptop PCMI card   about $59.00

    2. Wireless station.  2.0 MPS  $49.00 this looks like a wifi router but it is a wireless modem and plugs into your PC or a wireless router.

    3. Combo of both about $90.00

3.With voice service VoIP  about $75.00

Land line providers have DSL only service as well.

  4. (A pc, is a laptop)

you can ged a `dongle` thing that you have to pay a a fortune for that plugs into a usb port and supposedly gives you wireless internet anywhere.

  5. You Can Get A (:|:)Wireless(:|:)  Hookup...............

  6. nope, you can get broadband via satelite, fiber optics (in selective areas), or cable tv lines.

  7. Yes you can buy a USB modem to plug into computer. I just bought one in Currys. They call them "web & walk" because you are totally independent.

You can get various makes & various tarifs, ie: pay as you go being one of them.

  8. No get a usb one that plugs in to your computer. There's a sim card inside. You can get them from most mobile providers, 3, T-mobile and Vodafone do them starting at £10 per month, depending how many hours you think you'll surf each month

  9. i have this it comes through your tv (Cable) with a modem conenected and it can connect either to a pc or laptop hope ythis helps

  10. Hello you can get ready to go broadband it works like a moblie phone

    you top up with credit.

    hope this helped.

  11. You can now get fast broadband on mobile networks, i suggest pay as you go service on t-mobile or 3 at £15 per month is pretty good value and best of all no contracts.

In fact when my mums orange broadband contract ends in about 12 months, i hope to buy one of the mobile usb modem sticks at £50 and pay £15 p.m. if i can afford it which is very likely, as i love my computer and the internet.

  12. i got usb modem from 3. it picks up signal similar to mobile phone but its a lot faster. the modem cost £50 and i can get 1gb for £10, 3gb £15 or 7gb for £25 so its cheaper than a lot of broadband contracts and i dont have to pay if i'm not gonna use it.
