Do you need a physical to get into high school?

i m 14 and i always thought you did but my shool sent me my info and it seems like they are saying you only need one if you are going for sports do other hight school require a physical even if you dont play a sport?

I've only ever heard of a physical as being required before going out for sports.

most schools its just for sports, but yeah it could be a special rule they have. I would go get one just to be safe

yeah you'd want one because its a great feeling when you drop your shorts in the cold doctors room and he grabs the side of your nuts and says turn your head and cough. YUMMY!!!!

my high school dont require a physical but just my records of all the vaccines or "shots" that are required to have at your age. like they made sure i had the chicken pox shot and other shots to prevent other ppl from getting sick from ur dieases.

At my school, you only need a physical if you are going to play a sport. but i'd get one just in case you decide to play one.

It's quite unlikely that your school requires a physical exam for anything but sports...  Unless your school is specialized in sports, or is some sort of vocational school, it is doubtful they will require anything other than your vaccination records and a certified transcript from your former school.

If you feel there is anything wrong with your body (medically), I would recommend getting a physical exam either way...
