Do you need a tv license for a tv in your car?

i bought a mini tv for my car cos it was £9.99 and fits in it perfectly. but do i need a license for it? cos my car has a lockable door.....

and no i dont plan on watching it while i drive!

  3. no. the TV license you have at home will cover the one in your car. If you dont have one for your house then you will need one.

Somehow I doubt that you need a license to do that.  I mean no one can "learn" or qualify for the skill of watching tv and driving at the same time, so what's the point in making a licence for it? And over here we don't need licences for tv's at home, we just pay for the service so we can get extra channels.

    Some cars come ready with a tv when you buy it.  It's just like having a radio, as long as you can afford the tv.  You don't need a licence for GPS screen, radio, so why would you need one for the tv?
