  1. Just to be safe it would be a good idea to get your passport renewed.  If you are flying it would be much easier to cross any of the border.  If something happens in an emergency for health reasons you may want to cross the Mexican border into the States, and they will really frown on the expired passport...better to have a valid one and not have to use it. then be caught in a political fight and die trying to get some help.


  2. If ur flying u can arrange with the airline to get by with ur expired passport as long as it has not been expired for more then a year and other ID. But if dont reques ahead of time, then u will not be able to travel. If your going through the border (drive) u must have a valid passport.

  3. No you do not. However, if you are flying and have a stopover in the US or entering the US at all, on your way to Mexico, you will need a valid passport.
