Do you need a visa if you move to england but then decide to move to ireland?

i know you need a visa to get to england from the states but i wanted to know if once you are in england and you want to move to ireland if you need a visa for that to.

  1. Not if you want to move to Northern Ireland, but you will need one if you want to move to the Republic.

    Are any of your grandparents Irish? If so you can register as an Irish citizen.


  2. If you move to N. Ireland its no problem as of course its all British here. Its ony a problem crossing into southern Ireland as this is a different country.
