  1. If you are not from the Us and coming from another country then Yes


  2. If it is still in the USA and you are entering that country....YES

  3. If you are visiting as a tourist from the UK for less than 90 days then no. You will be handed a 'visa waiver' form on the plane to complete before you land in the US.

    As long as your are in New york for less then 90days and are there for travelling/holiday only,not to work etc and you dont have a serious criminal record then you will be fine.

    Id dont understand your question regarding the passport,if its new then you will be fine,all they ask is for a machine readable passport(they have to swipe the barcode) and seeing as yours is new then this wont be a problem
