I'm flying this year to australia, and am already worrying about how to get the money, but on top of everything else, I found out earlier, you need a visa to travel there, even if it is just for a holiday. I'm 15, and flying with a few friends of the same age in the summer, not sure if am adult is coming or not, and I'm wondering if I need to get a visa as well, even though I'm under 18...? If I do need one, can anyone tell me where I can get one from and how much they would cost?

Thank you!

  1. Yes you do need a visa. You may apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) visa and get it online with in minutes if you're qualified. In most cases, your ETA Visa will be approved in less than 30 seconds.

But an ETA visa does not apply to all countries, it depends on where you'll be coming from. You can check it out here http://www.nationalvisas.com.au/visitor/... and it costs AU$49.00

You should have sufficient funds to cover the trip and an incentive to return.

    Have fun! =)

  2. See site below for ETA info.

  3. You need an electronic visa. When I flew with Singapore airlines it was free, but when I flew with China Airways it cost me £35. Talk to whoever you booked your flight with

  4. you need to talk to your travel agent

  5. u need a passport duh

  6. Yes you do. The cost and type of visa depends how long you are staying.

This is the Australian government's information on visas:

    Have a good trip :)
