Im an immigrant in toronto on canada do i need a work permit and social security card to play in a movie??? and if so how do i get them im under 18 years of age?

  1. First of all, you need to be a legal immigrant in Canada with a status which allows working.  This is nearly impossible for a minor child -- a minor child who is on a immigration visa is almost never allowed to be employed.

    Then there is the movie industry, where special rules apply for the employment of minors.

    You have a number of strikes against you in attempting to work in modeling, movies, theatre.  You will have to start with Immigration Canada to see if they will allow you to work as a minor, and you will have to present your current documentation/visa since your current status, whatever it may be, plays a large role in this.
