Question:

Do you need advance reservations?

My man and I are going to Chicago next month. I want to get some of the pizza that chicago is famous for. I've heard that Uno's or Due's is the place to go. Do we need to get advance reservations?

If there is another awsome place, I'm open to suggestions.

  1. Uno's is not expensive.

You don't need reservations for most pizza places, and often they won't really accept them.

  2. You can also try :-

    Aurelio's Pizza

Since 1959, 49 years and still cooking

      506 W Harrison Chicago, IL 60607-4303

1.77 miles from the center of Chicago, IL

    Pizza, Pasta, Salads, Sandwiches.

    Trattoria Porretta Ristorante & Pizzeria

    3656 N Centrl Av Chicago, IL 60634-2750

9.00 miles from the center of Chicago, IL

Come experience the best that Chicago has to offer.

    They are really good.

  3. Not expensive @ all, and no reservation required (I don't even think they take them)

Another place to consider would be Gino's East in the River north area on Wells

You can sign the wall and graffiti is all over. The pizza is great. Personal I like it better

  4. I would reccomend Gino's East, Girodano's, or Lou Malinati's over Pizzeria Uno. The pizza is mid-priced. Expect a medium pizza at Gino's to run you $25 if you load up toppings. Appetizers in the $5-$10 range, salads around the same. Order deep dish chicago style pizza, and expect a 45 minute wait for it to cook. If you are going on the weekends, call ahead, they can take reservations or start cooking your pizza in advance.

  5. uno's is good pizza i had pizza there before we have one in our area.or pizza hut is good

  6. Uno's is now a chain restaurant and very touristy.

Try Giordano's or Gino's East or Lou Malnati's

  7. I prefer Lou Malinati's over Uno or any other pizza place. They take reservations but they are not required. But do expect about a 30-45 min wait for the pizza to cook. Order the deep dish. It is excellent! It runs from $5.40 for an individual pan to $16.50 for a large (cheese). For a cheese and sausage or cheese and pepperoni it ranges from $5.75 to $18.50.
