Do you need amber bulbs with black lens turn signals? and will it look okay?

I am switching from an amber lens to a black lens for my turnsignal. will I have to have an amber bulb? and if I do, will it look okay or will the bulb be too noticeable

It will look okay but you need amber in the front and amber of red in the rear by state laws.

you can use an amber bulb with it ,all that will be noticeable is the bulb when its on ,other than that no one will know the difference,my nephew has those in his neon and he likes them,the bulb is noticeable in his though,but for now they look ok,you can try it and see ,you might like the way they look,he does for now and if you don't you can change to an amber bulb,good luck.

just use a amber bulb i put black lenses in my truck and i use amber bulbs they look pretty nice.
