  1. No you don't need a passport . You do not need a passport if you are driving or on a cruise to go to Mexico you only need one if you are flying. Do to the over load at the passprot office they have even changed the ruls until Sep 1, 2007, But as of Jan,1,2008 you will be required to have a passport


  2. You will not need a passport for cruise travel until January 2008.  It is however, strongly recommended that you have a passport in case you need to fly home.  A valid passport or proof of submitting for one with a valid ID is required for air travel from Mexico.

  5. Are you asking if you need a passport to go on a cruise from Los Angeles to Baja, Mexico?  Technically ,no.  (See the website below for the regulations.)  However, some cruise lines are requiring passorts...so it is best to ask your cruise line to be sure.
