Do you need an adaptor for electrical items in Australia?

  2. Yes, but only because the plug sockets in Australia are different, but the Voltage is the same 240v.

    Many people who need more than one UK socket, actually put an Australian plug on a 4 or 6 gang UK socket board, so they have plenty of UK sockets even in Australia.

  3. It depends what your home country is.  

    They run on 220-240, and the socket is Australian AS-3112.  At the very least you'll need a plug adapter; if your home country uses 110 (such as the US), you'll need a voltage converter.  

  4. Yes, you do! Your plugs are shaped differently to ours and you won't be able to plug your stuff in here without an adaptor.

  6. You will need a plug adaptor but check the specifications of the equipment your going to plug in because most things are designed to run on voltage from 110(USA)-240(AUST) so a convertor is not necessary
