  1. You mean shots? If you mean shots, then yes, you do. I think you have to get 3 different kinds, but I don't remember which kinds. I had them all done before I even learned I was going to Jamaica so I don't remember which ones they were, but yes, you do need shots.

    Hepatitis A Vaccination recommended 2 weeks before travel

    Diphtheria *Vaccination sometimes recommended 3 months before travel

    Tuberculosis *Vaccination sometimes recommended 3 months before travel

    Hepatitis B *Vaccination sometimes recommended 2 months before travel

    Rabies Not required .

    Meningococcal meningitis Not required .

    Yellow fever Certificate of vaccination may be required 10 days before travel

    Japanese B encephalitis Not required .

    Tick-borne encephalitis Not required

    so i called my doctors and they said no you dont need any.

    Hepatitis A

    Hepatitis B

    Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)

    Tetanus-diphtheria

    But only if you have not had them recently....so go to your doctors and they'll check for you.

  8. I went with no jabs, However Jamaica's hotels are surrounded by concertina wire. They have to keep people out. Come to St Croix, our hotels are wide open.

  9. No. We are not a disease nest, but if you want to just go to ur doc and ask for vaccines against every possible disease you may catch while vacationing in the caribbean.

  10. Yes if you are allergic to certain kids of bugs like mosquitoes, lizards..etc. So yes you should.

  11. Hi we have a holiday home in Jamaica and we go two to three time every year

    We have never needed any shots

    And we have never been advised to get any shots by our Dr

    Just go and have a good time you will love it
