I`m not quite at that stage yet. Thank God. What would make your shopping experience easier at any age? Mine would be to stop people of all ages dawdling, but preventing other people from passing them in the aisles. By all means take your time, but do not prevent people in a hurry from passing you. They somehow manage to block all four lanes of a wide aisle with a small basket. My other moan is people paying for a newspaper or other small item with a debit card. Does no-one use cash anymore for small items. I know i am a miserable old git. Lol.

  1. I wish folks would bathe and use deoderant when they venture into public.....

  2. Oh Joanne, I hear you on this one, isle blockers bring out the worst in me!!!

And what about the chatters, stood there gassing about this and that, me shouting EXCUSE ME!  Trying to get their attention.  I say allow chatting on YA and bloody ban it in the supermarkets.

As for supermarkets being pensioner friendly my wish is that they would stop the BOGOF and do half prices.  I hardly ever need two of anything but half prices really make me happy.♥♥

Haz. my supermarket shop is my highlight of the week.  God help anyone who interferes or spoils it.  Therapy?  Me too!!!  LOL

  3. magnifying glass yes, debit cards no.

  4. LOL I hate food shopping so I tend to go at times when I think the pensioners will be getting their blue rinses

Unfortunately I've yet to establish when this time is so I'll be well chuffed if Tesco opens supermarkets specifically for the older generation

I know they're not all bad but some of them need to get a rocket up their @rse

  5. I hate it when people just stop right in front of me in a busy, crowded shop, leaving nowhere to go. I also hate it when people with trollies and/or buggies almost run me over because they're not even looking where they're going.

And it gets even worse at Christmas time...

  6. Shopping for food has to be the most boring thing ever I hate it, I haven't reached the stage where I need to sit down or require the use of a magnifying glass,It sounds a bit PC or gimmicky to me.

  7. Thank goodness for online shopping.  It's just so much easier, no screaming kids, nobody bumping into you with trolleys or blocking the aisle, no queues, no hunting for items when they change the aisles round.

Get it delivered.  It's so much easier.

  8. What bugs me is when there's bogof offers on and people only pick one up and when they get to the checkout the cashier points this out and you have to wait for another assistant to be summoned and collect the free item, it's maddening.

  9. I detest food shopping. I sometimes buy it online and get it delivered.

  10. Nope.

All I need is more money and more time.

    Can Tesco´s fix that?

  11. I ..um..do it online as well.

I just cannot bear the whole supermarket ordeal. I hate the way people are always clocking what I'm putting in my trolley or breathing down my neck when I'm reading a label or something.

Everyone seems to smell these days. I get bewildered by the choice. I knew I had a problem when I started to hyperventilate at items misplaced around the shop.

Egg noodles placed on top of cat meat. Lazy, idle feckers.

    I know ...I need therapy ;-)

    Lol@ Aurora  :-)

  12. i really hate it when you at the cigarite till where they sell tiny things like gum and alchole and people go the because no ones lined  up and empy their trolley!!

its ment to be for people buying something from there or for people who only have one or 2 items.

PlUS THE PEOPLE WHO LEAVE THERE TROLLEY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ILE AND WONDER OFF IT SEEMS AWKARD MOVING IT OUT OF THE WAY AND WHEN YOU DO OU SEE THEM GIVING YOU A DIRTY LOOK AND IM LIKE COM ONE!!

  13. I've gotten lazy and ordered online and they deliver next day.... other than that I bring the kids with me to push the trolley while I run around and get the bits... lol
