Hi

A year ago we made a part of our attic into a room which was used as an office. Now I'm wondering if you need planning permission to convert that room into a bedroom, all we will put in there is a bed, but still do you need planning permission??

  1. No, just change it back before you sell your house.  Tell the inspector you just wanted a nice, clean attic.  Tell them that you can't stand the particle board laid on top of the stud look.  If it's empty at the time of inspection they can't conclude anything.
