  1. yes any building work will need planning permission especislly if it may b dangerous


  2. Yes you would, because it would be on public land and the city carries liability for anything built on public land. THey probably will not allow you personally to build one,  try instead to propose it to them at a city council meeting, explain how it will help young people. Make a nice presentation, and there is a fair chance that they will eventually do it. If they say no, then bring up the iidea of you doing it yourself.

  3. it depends on how high the wooden play area will be from ground upwards speak to council. when u say green belt land do u mean conservation area if so i would definately check local council.

  4. You need planning permotion for everything these days even if you have bought your house with surrounded council properties........

  5. Yes you do because the local authority is responsible for the safety of anyone using play equipment on public land ~~
