Do you need proof for disability?

My friend has had 2 jobs and has been fired from both. She has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and along with it, we think is Hypermobility-or- Aspergers-Syndrome. Now if she were to put this down as a disability so they'd know she'd be slow, would ... .. she need proof from a doctor that she has it in order to put it on the application?? o__O We've never written them because we didn't know.

Yes you will need proof from the doctors .His report plus they will send you to there doctors also  and then go from there but i have no doubt the way you explain that she will be eligible. however  you need to know that it takes  a spell to get it.
