  1. A pilots licence is a pretty good start!

  2. This site has all the information you need to know:

  3. You'd have to get straight A's in physics and maths (gcse and a'levels), then an aeronautical engineering degree. My ex was doing this degree and a few of his friends were doing this degree to get into commercial pilot.

plus you'll need a load of money. around £80,000 for the license.

universities that do good degrees in this are south hampton (ithink), liverpool, loughborough and the imperial college of london.

  4. I looked into this sometime ago.

From when I looked into it Physics was a very good thing to have, along with maths at A level.

Plus around £80,000 to cover all the fees etc. its not cheap business.

I would start with a small private license first. you can egt these for about £5,000 with all your lessons etc, then you can probably work your way up to a commercial pilot without the grades etc.

  5. nope you just hop in and go don't even ask the airline

  6. Flying schools don't have specific Academic requirement. They specify minimum   age  age for PPL , CPL etc

Academic qualification requirement  depends on your country's Civil Aviation Authority Requirements.

  7. yes, all the way from air frames and powwer plants up. Even military isnt enough.

  8. Do you think they let a high school drop out take 30 million quids worth of aeroplane and 300 or more passengers 5 miles up, of course you do. The entry standards are very high.
