  1. No

    You only need one connection; either coax or HDMI.


  2. Hook the HDMI cable up if you want the highest quality (Particularly if you get a Hi-Def signal) otherwise you'll get the lowest quality via the coax.

  3. You need to have a coaxial cable coming from the cable source, going into the Input in the box. But regarding the connection going to your TV, you can use either the HDMI, Coaxial, or RCA cable to connect it to your TV. You can use all 3 if you want to, but at least 1 of the 3 is needed. Note that HDMI will give you the best picture possible.
