Question:

Do you need to be in a 'haunted' place for an Ouija board to work?

I am a believer in spirits and the paranormal. I have tried the Ouija board about a dozen times at different locations and have had very week sessions. My question is can you just use the ouija anywhere to conjure spirits or do you need to use it in a place where a spirit already resides to communicate? Thanks

  1. Ouija boards pick up on only lower level entities that would like to harm you by  draining your energy. Those who can't use a board probably are either 1) not  letting themselves open up to negativity 2) their spirit guides are holding on to your dear life, trying to stop you.

    Not only can you harm yourself but your protector-spirit guide as well.

    No, you don't need to be at a haunted place. souls are everywhere!

  3. Its probably better to use it in a place where there are spirits. However maybe you need a specially made ouija board. Isn't the other one made by parker brothers, I mean come on...

  4. no, Ouija boards are meant to call spirits.  Unfortunately they call all spirits, and Aggressive ones seem to like the call sent out.  It's a doorway though, and you can't always close that door.  This is why so many Wiccans, Pagans, and Even Christians will not use them.  Please just don't use it.

  6. The Ouija board operates via the ideomotor effect.  You aren't communicating with spirits, you're moving the planchette subconsciously.  The board works better for some than with others, so the setting matters less than the participants.

  8. well be very careful i am not sure how much you know about this board but i can conjure up something you amy not want into your lives they do call the devil and stuff and it opens doors to nether worlds that you do not wantyes it does. its generally worked really well for me when soemone yiou know is dead recently. its very scary and i won't have one in th hosue now. be careful.

No, I know people who have used them in their house which wasn't haunted and it worked great.  I've even done it in my house..but it didn't work that great.  Be careful though... if you do end up "talking" to a spirit and its violent and whatnot say goodbye to it and don't play for a while otherwise it could just come back and even lie to you about its identity.  And hopefully nothing really creepy will happen, my friend used to play with one a lot and bugs would start coming out of everywhere and she would hear noises and feel like someone was there etc.  spooky!

    and oh! a suggestion if you want a place to play with ouija board maybe try a cemetery? a lot of dead people there!

  11. I tried one years ago with my mom, and the house we lived in at the time was almost brand new.  as far as I know, we were the first people to live there - so I doubt there was any haunting there.  

    nevertheless, the board worked, and we were able to ask the spirit a few questions.  it was an interesting experience, especially for me, being about 8 years old at the time.

    as a kid, I had no clue what was going on, but now that I think about it - I wonder exactly who/what was there with us that night.  my mom swore that she wasn't moving the pointer and neither was I!

  13. They will work in haunted places but they will also work in any place

    they open a portal that ghost can come out of to comunicate with you but you cant control what comes out of it it may be a ghost or it may be a demon or somthing else
