Do you need to be sized for contact lenses?

i want to get color lenses, yet i don't need any corrective value to my vision. i was wondering if i could purchase these lenses off the net, but was curious as to the possibility of needing to be sized.. are all contacts the same size (with the exception of lense correction)?

  1. Speak to an optometrist! Never buy your own prescription, especially contacts.


  2. All lenses are the same size. You probably could just buy them off the net. Just be sure to buy them from a reputable source.

    cos' you might get eyes infections if it is not taken care properly.

  4. No, contacts are not all the same size, and yes, you need to be fitted for the lenses by an eye doctor.  The wrong size or type of lens can be irritating or even damaging.
