Or can you just bring your conformation code and check-in there with your luggage?

  1. Take your e ticket. It's your ticket they want with the info on it

  2. Although it's not necessary, it's really better to have a copy of your Eticket. Most airlines these days have codeshare flights that alot of passengers are clueless about. They can waste precious time standing in line at the WRONG airline counter and face the possibility of missing their flight because of this misinformation!

Look for the fine print that says "Operated by ____ airline"

  3. it would help. you know, to board the plane and all....

  4. You should bring the actual ticket number (if you have it) and the airline booking reference.

To the 3 people below an E-ticket is a confirmation of an electronic booking, there is no paper copy of the ticket just a booking reference number and sometimes an actual ticket number. At the airport they issue you with a boarding card.

I've used e-tickets with a print out of the booking confirmation e-mail or just the booking reference number that was sent to my mobile as a text message.
