Do you need to fertilize a pinto bean plant (or any other plant) that I grow indoors? ?

I'm growing the pinto plant with just water and sunlight so far, and it works. But in order to produce more pinto beans, do I need to fertilize it, and how can I do it? Can I do it "naturally" besides putting the chemical fertilizer?

Yes, you are going to need to fertilize.  I recommend a little bit of MiracleGro.

Also, you may run into some issues when your bean plant gets larger as you are going to have less sunlight and the photoperiod needed for flowers to set needs to be longer than what we get during fall days.
