Do you need to have good grades inorder to enter miss florida usa?

Since teenagers are in school, the education component is more important than in the older Miss Florida category.  But the contest sponsors want the "best" entries that they can get. If your grades aren't great, can you show them that your grades are improving recently. Or that you are putting your efforts toward other things that make your neighborhood a better place.  I bet they let you enter.
