Do you need to make an appointment to get a piercing at a tattoo place?

I'm going to call and ask beforehand but I was just wondering about other peoples experiences. Also, if you need to make an appointment do you think it would be able to be by the next day?

Depends on the shop itself.

For piercings most places are ok with walk ins b/c they don't take much time to do. But its a good a idea to call first to make sure.

I'm sure if you had to make for they next the day that would be fine

out here in Wisconsin its best to make an appointment because it can get really crowded in there yes they can do next day its not bad doing walking in its bout a 30 minute wait you have a little paper work show your i.d and the piercing takes like not even 10 seconds

It really depends on the shop, the day, etc. Most piercers take walk ins. Piercing doesn't take as long as tattoos do, so we have a bit more time to squeeze someone in. I prefer that people make appointments, so that I can be sure to have everything I need, especially if it's for something unusual or requires custom jewelry. Besides, it's kinda nice to know you have a  full day booked!

If you're planning to go on a weekend, be sure to make an appointment. Studios tend to get a lot of walk in traffic on weekends.

about 98% of places will allow you just just walk in and get it done:-)

yes you can have it for next day!

i have made appointments for 20mins after i rang the place.

It depends on the place you go. I didn't need an apt for mine. I just walked in and waited for my turn.
