try your familly to get paid for work or neibors.  Try raking leaves,shoveling snow or just plain yard work for cash.

Unfortunately your best bet is babysitting and/or chores type work.  I don't know of any state that allows a business to employ anyone, except family, under 14.

Check with neighbors that need work done or have kids.

well where do you live? Is there any close by stores they will hire you first off? I mean you need to start somewhere? I hate fast food joints but, it does help to make you want to go to college and, Well you can afford shoes when you work at like McDonald's ha ha. .  But, not the best place to work at if I can just note my opinion then again you might find me wrong I mean. Tons of people have devoted there life as a manger sadly.
