Do you normally get paid more if you work on weekends?

I work casual at a fast food chain and am wondering if you get paid more if you work on the weekend?

Not necesarily. Wages are paid hourly no matter what the day. Overtime usually aplies to holidays & if you've worked over a specific # of hours in a wek or day...depends on state.

unless you work in a restaurant that you recieve tips at, then no. Flat base is just that and all employees are required to work their schedules whether it's on the weekends or not.

Usually not in restaurants you get paid the same as any other day of the week.

No sorry- and the weekends will suck too- a lot of employees take the weekends off and weekends are the busiest time of the week (at least at my store) so your understaffed and busy:(. But if you need hours, you will take it.

Yes because more people go eat outside on weekends and if more people more money and if more money more money to give to the employees

I think you should be paid more of course, weekends are resting days, if you work than you should have a reward for that.

i doubt it; best schedules come with seniority
