Slightly slanted eyes, jet black hair, light to medium porcelain skin. You can tell that they look slightly different from their Western and Central European counterparts. Can someone please explain to me how these features came about in Eastern Europeans?

  1. You're right! The Mongolians invaded much of Europe (look up Ghangas Kahn). Also, places like Hungary (where my Dad was from) had several Asiatic type people such as the Avars work their way down from the North (this would explain a lot about the Russian's features as well as the Eskimos).

  2. I do. Some Eastern Europeans have Mongoloid blood in them which makes them look Asian. The most noticeable feature that stands out amongst European with Mongoloid blood is their eyes, it is slightly slanted. Also, the Europeans with these type of features also tend to have jet black hair like the Asians.

  3. The first answerer is right. those ppl having the features like asian. such as in hungary, rumania, czech, slav and azerbijanian etc. ppl called them tarta or Hun. I also heard that Count Dracular also having asian blood from Atilla the Hun.  indeed, his brother Bella looked more westherner than him, bella got light pink skin and deepest set eyes.
