Do you notice those dark cracks on top of doorways ???

Some of them appear to move at times...

I heard someone say they are spirits of the dead who can't find their way into heaven.

How true is this ?

How to get rid of them ?

Are they harmful ?

get yer self a good old fashioned white sage smudge stick.  burn that s**a and smoke yur house out.  open the windows to rid the smoke and presto....clean house!

well that is not true because if there were spirits that couldn't get to heaven then they would go to h**l there is no wo ways about it.  one way to get rid of them is to get a different door but you could also stucco over them and repaint them.  and they should be in no way harmful uless they are from termites because the termites make a gas that when concetrated such as in a bedrom of a house is harmful and even fatal (able to cause death) to humans and animals alike

Okay, if you want to adopt the religious belief that spirits get stuck in doorways, there's no way for me to prove that they don't. But the crack thing is testable. Go investigate and videotape a doorway that is said to do this. You'll find that the cracks are just cracks, but you can prove this to yourself if you want with a little effort.
